The First Step – Initial

You’ve already taken the first step by
visiting our website. After
you’ve had a chance to review our
introductory materials, if you feel
there may be a good fit between your needs and our services,
please feel free to e-mail or give us a call to discuss
setting up an introductory
meeting.
The Next Step – Introductory Meeting
The complimentary meeting is designed to help both
of us evaluate if there
is a solid basis for establishing a client/planner
relationship. We
can discuss your needs and areas where you have
questions or concerns. We’ll
share more detail on our philosophy and approach
regarding financial planning
and investment management services and answer any
additional questions you
may have.
At the end of this meeting, we should both have a
good idea if our fit is
right for each other. To ensure that we
exceed the expectations for
all of our clients, we only accept a maximum of
3-4 new clients per month. By
limiting the number of clients we take on, we
ensure that we have the capacity
for new clients and successfully support our
existing clients. Assuming we
both choose to move forward, trueNorth will send a
follow-up proposal detailing
the services we recommend and the estimated fee
for those services.
Becoming a Client
To become a client of trueNorth, we will schedule a time to have you come
in and sign either our Integrated Life Planning Agreement or our Financial
Planning Agreement. These Agreements define our working relationship
and establish our client/planner relationship.
At this meeting we will provide you with a data
questionnaire workbook to
assist with the task of pulling together the
information we will need. We
will also discuss and set a tentative schedule for
completing your initial
plan and answer any other questions you may
have.
